Discovery Channel is yet to announce the premiere date of reality series "Alaskan Bush People's" season 8. Season 7 ended on Aug. 16 with seven episodes and the Brown family moving to Colorado to build a brand-new Browntown.

Fans of the documentary series were worried after season 7 ended that the show might be canceled. Season 7 ended with the Brown family planning to move to Colorado and Ami Brown undergoing chemotherapy to manage her lung cancer. Billy Brown also mentioned on the show that a forest in Colorado is where he and his wife Ami first fell in love. "This place is like just over the mountain from where Mom and I... completely fell in love with," Billy said.

Fans and the Brown family were devastated to hear the unfortunate news that Amy's chance of survival is less than three percent. Several reports indicate that Ami and her condition will be an essential part of season 8.

According to Radar Online, Joshua "Bam Bam" Brown and his girlfriend Allison Kagan will have more screen time in the eighth season. The entertainment outlet also talked to Garlyn Gryder, an art gallery owner who spent some time with Bam Bam and Allison in New Orleans. Gryder said that the couple had an amazing chemistry despite the cameras following them around. "When they came into the gallery they had a large camera crew following them, but they didn't seem fazed by it," Gryder said.

Youngest of the Brown siblings, Rain Brown has been posting pictures on Instagram of her in Colorado where the show will resume. Production for season 8 continues despite Ami's condition. There are no further details given by Discovery Channel about season 8 and whether it will be the show's last season or not.
