"Alaskan Bush People" star Rainy Brown received backlash from fans after she called her family "very private," despite seven seasons of their reality TV show. Rain also used the same excuse for her constant updates on social media saying that she is the only one who is not that "private."

Rain's video intended to update fans about Gabe since a certain girl is claiming to be his girlfriend. Rain clarified that Gabe does not have his phone and that he is currently having a hard time. She also warned fans not to believe what others are saying about them.

"My family is really private and that's the only reason why I'm the only one here. And I don't say anything about the rest of my family because they are all very private people," Rain said in a video she uploaded on Instagram.

Fans are not happy with Rain's understanding of her family's status as reality TV stars. Apparently, fans already know much about them because of the show. One fan commented on the irony of Rain's claims saying that "they are private, yet she's on here discussing their business."

Another fan said that if her family is private, she should be careful in using social media. The fan added that correcting false rumors is a way of prying out information from them. Meanwhile, other fans are supportive of Rain's "privacy." Others commented that even if they have a show, they are not really showing their whole life in it.

This is not the first time that Rain is under fire because of her social media posts. She was previously slammed by fans when she posted selfies, while her mother battles stage 4 lung cancer. Since the family left Alaska for California, Rain was constantly sharing selfies and uplifting messages. She is doing her best to stay positive, despite the condition of her 54-year-old mother.
