From a cabin in the Alaskan wilderness to a luxury mansion right smack in the heart of Beverly Hills, the stars of Discovery Channel's reality show "American Bush People" are getting a total upgrade.

Radar Online reports that the house — which boasts of five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a master suite with its own jacuzzi and an in-ground pool — is worth a whopping $2.7 million. That's definitely a far cry from the little cabin the family of nine used to share.

The Brown extended family, led by 64-year-old patriarch Billy Brown and his 54-year-old wife Ami, moved to California after finding out that Ami is suffering from stage four lung cancer. The family's new house is strategically located just minutes away from the UCLA Medical Center, where, until September, Ami had been  undergoing chemo and radiation therapy.

The health condition of the Brown family's matriarch has put filming of their reality show on an indefinite halt as the entire family moves out of Alaska. Her two daughters, Birdy and Rain, as well as four sons Matt, Bam Bam, Bear and Gabe came with her to Los Angeles to support her recovery, while Noah and his fiancée Rhain Alisha have been spotted in Idaho.

Back in August, Billy revealed to People that doctors said his wife's survival statistics was only at three percent. At that time, the stress from treatments had already caused Ami to lose a lot of weight — from 128 lbs. to 89.4 lbs.

However, the mother of seven remained strong and in the same interview said, "I realized early into this that it's very easy to want to give up and just die. And on the pessimist side, it could be my last days. But I have the will to fight."

Now. less than two months later, Ami has completed treatment and is now out of the hospital. She is, however, reported as still very weak and would need time to recover. There is no news yet on when "American Bush People" will resume filming.
