According to a report from Deadline, "Ex Machina" star Alicia Vikander is currently being considered for roles for both "Bourne 5" and the "Assassin's Creed" movie.  

Despite the report that she is being courted for both films, the actress herself has not yet confirmed if she has officially signed on. If she does choose to do both films, then she will be starring opposite Matt Damon's Jason Bourne in the fifth entry in the "Bourne" franchise, and then work with Michael Fassbender in the movie adaptation of the "Assassin's Creed" video games. However, choosing to do them would likely drop her out of "The Circle," a film currently being produced by Tom Hanks. According to a report from IGN, "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson would take on that role instead, that is, if it does not conflict with her schedule for the filming of the live adaptation of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." 

Vikander first popped up in the scene with a highly acclaimed performance in Joe Wright's take of "Anna Karenina" and in "Fifth Estate." She gained widespread popularity for playing the role of Ava, an artificial intelligence program, in the film "Ex Machina," which she starred opposite Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson.

The 26-year-old Swedish actress will next appear in "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." where she will star opposite Superman himself, Henry Cavill. She will then be seen in the highly anticipated biopic "The Danish Girl" where she will appear alongside Academy Award-winning actor Eddie Redmayne. 

"Bourne 5" will see the return of Damon and director Paul Greengrass, both of whom chose to sit out of the previous installment, "The Bourne Legacy," due to disagreements with the film's story and script. That film focused on a new character, Aaron Cross, played by Jeremy Renner.  

"Assassin's Creed," meanwhile, will be the first film produced and developed by Ubisoft Motion Pictures, a new film studio opened by the company acclaimed for their high-quality video games such as "Assassin's Creed" and "The Prince of Persia." The film will be another collaboration between Fassbender, actress Marion Cotillard, and director Justin Kurzel, all of whom worked together in "Macbeth."
