Dell's gaming product line Alienware Alpha will reportedly come out anytime soon, and gamers are now excited to get their hands on the very first high-powered PC console hybrid from The Hammocks, Florida-based computer hardware company.

Sometimes known as the Steam Machine, this computer-gaming console hybrid will reportedly support the game titles developed by Valve Corporation for Microsoft Windows.

But before it is officially launched in the market, here's a look at how this gaming device can compete with the existing next-generation gaming consoles in the market today, Sony's PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's Xbox One.

Here are the specs and features of Alienware Alpha, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One:

Alienware Alpha

The basic Alienware Alpha comes with a Core i3-4130T dual-core with hyper-threading CPU with 2.9 GHz processor with 3 MB cache without turbo. It also has a GTX 860M variant GPU with 2 GB GDDR5 at 6 gbps.

The $550 version of the Alienware Alpha has a memory of 4 GB DDR3L at 1600 MHz (single-channel) as well as an 512 GB Hard Drive storage.

It also has an Intel dual-band wireless-AC 3160 WiFi that is very user-friendly.

Sony PlayStation 4

The PlayStation 4 features AMD x86 Jaguar 1.6 GHZ 8-Core CPU with AMD next-generation Radeon-based graphics engine GPU and 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM. It has built-in 500 GB hard drive storage.

The predecessor or PlayStation 3 features Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, two USB 3.0 ports, as well as Bluetooth connections.

Microsoft Xbox One

The Xbox One features an 8-core x86 AMD CPU that is reportedly based on AMD's Kabini, with a Radeon 7790 GPU. It also has an 8 GB of DDR3 RAM with 32 MB of high-speed SRAM.

The Microsoft next-generation gaming console also has a Blu-ray drive, 500 GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi connection, HDMI in and out, Gigabit Ethernet, as well as USB 3.0 connection.

Presently, only the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One dominate the gaming market. Most game titles are made for these consoles at the moment.
