George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin tied the knot on Sept. 27, and after two months of married life, reports of pregnancy have started to surface. The media and the public can't be blamed for probing — after all, the award-winning actor is already 53 and it seems like he wants to start a family right about now.

The Epoch Times reports that the "Ocean's 11" star wants his first baby already. However, his wife is reportedly not ready yet.

A source for The National Enquirer said, "George wants a child right away, but Amal feels overwhelmed."

Apparently, Alamuddin isn't ready for a family yet because she is still adjusting. Just two months in, the marriage and the fame is still unfamiliar territory for her and it is not surprising if she wants more time to adjust to that kind of life first before dealing with having a family.

Another insider said, "The baby topic has caused a lot of tension between the two. Part of it is due to his age, but he'd also finally met the woman of his dreams."

Nonetheless, it seems that the human rights lawyer is not giving in to the rush of having babies. She's 36 but, perhaps, she just wants to enjoy her newly married life at this moment.

However, things haven't been going Alamuddin's way since she is not only presumably getting pressure from her husband, her own family is allegedly pressuring her to have a baby, too. Ramzi Alamuddin, the new wife's father, is reported to be expecting grandchildren already.

Some months back, there were reports about the couple is opting to adopt their first child instead. They were allegedly considering adopting an orphan from Syria given the plight of orphans in the country.

Will Mrs. Clooney sport a baby bump soon or will her new husband give her time to adjust?
