An Amazon delivery driver was caught on camera pooping on the gutter in front of a house in California earlier this week. The act was recorded on the home's security camera and was reported by the homeowner to Amazon.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday in a residential area in Sacramento, California. The homeowner, Nemy Bautista, was not at home when it happened.

When Bautista came home later that day, he saw excrement in front of his driveway. Initially, he thought that it came from a dog, so he decide to look at his home surveillance footage to see who the dog's owner was.

With the footage, Bautista discovered that the disgusting act was done by a human being, a delivery driver to be specific. Video evidence showed a woman squatting behind the open passenger door of a delivery van. The culprit was driving a U-Haul van delivering packages for Amazon.

Bautista posted the video on Facebook, with the description saying "Amazon.com why is your driver squatting in front of my house? Let me give you a hint: he/she is not tying their shoes. I have it on video!"

Amazon reached out to Bautista and sent a supervisor to the location hours later to clean up the mess. The retail giant also issue a statement addressing the matter.

"This does not reflect the high standards we have for delivery service providers," said Amazon. "This individual is no longer delivering Amazon packages and we're in direct communication with the customer."

Amazon also assured customers that despite what happened, majority of its packages are being delivered without problems this holiday season. The company also offered Bautista a gift card and apologized for the repulsive incident. However for Bautista, his real concern was for the customers who had packages delivered by the driver after the event.
