Amazon "Top Gear," now given the name "The Grand Tour," has locked in its first stop: Johannesburg, the biggest city in South Africa.

Three lucky fans get to join presenters and original "Top Gear" hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond on their tour of Johannesburg in "mid July."

Amazon held a "The Grand Tour" contest that urged fans to send photos or videos showing the strangest place they could put up a tent.

The winners have been revealed and will be get to watch the Amazon "Top Gear" premiere without worrying about the travel and accommodation expenses.

The rest of those who want to take part in the first road trip of "The Grand Tour" can buy tickets locally in South Africa. Specific details are yet to be revealed.

For the uninitiated, the so-called Amazon "Top Gear" will, for the first time, do live studio audience recordings, which Amazon takes pride in.

"Amazon customers will have the chance to be in the audience when tickets are released through prize draws this summer," the retail giant's U.K. leg announced.

As for those who do not live in South Africa, but want to join the "Top Gear" trio during their very first "The Grand Tour" escapade, Amazon also plans to make the tickets more accessible to fans outside the region.

"We know we have fans all over the world who want to watch the show legally. We're going to have to ask you to stay tuned for details," a comment from the administrators of "The Grand Tour" Facebook page read.

The Amazon "Top Gear" show is set for an autumn release. The highly-anticipated series will follow Clarkson, May and Hammond as they travel to different parts of the globe bringing every week with them their big blue tent.
