Fans can now officially look forward to Angela Bassett in "American Horror Story" season 6. During an interview with Larry King, the star revealed that she will be back for another round of spooks in the new season of the hit FX horror anthology.

She revealed that she "signed up after that first year," presumably referring to the instance she first got on board the show back in 2013. Bassett has appeared in a total of three seasons of the beloved Ryan Murphy-created program.

Bassett first appeared in the third season "American Horror Story: Coven" as the unforgiving queen of Voodoo and Dark Arts leader Marie Laveau. In the fourth season called "Freak Show," she played the role of uber-confident three-breasted woman Desiree Dupree.

In "American Horror Story: Hotel," Bassett flawlessly gave life to 1970s blaxploitation film superstar Ramona Royale. It remains to be seen what role she will be in come "American Horror Story" season 6 as details about the upcoming run are hard to come by.

Bassett has "no idea" how to explain the success of the horror anthology but believes that its mix of "theatricality" and being whimsical and "over the top" combined with a rich exploration of the times and history is what makes the show a favorite.

"American Horror Story" season 6 will feature two timelines – the present and the past – although the latter will be the central setting. Other than this, there's virtually no news as to what plot the new season will take on.

As for other "American Horror Story" season 6 cast news, Cheyenne Jackson, who starred in "Hotel" as fashion designer Will Drake, hopes to be back. He described his "AHS" experience to Out magazine as "exciting, daunting, nerve-racking, everything you can possibly imagine."

Lady Gaga, who headlined the previous season and even scored a Golden Globe for her performance, has been invited to return as well.

It may be hard to fathom how such pettiness plays into the government’s wider crackdown on FoRB and other fundamental human rights, or how on earth it could justify extending its repression to children, but ultimately it all comes down to fear.
