Details about the production of "Versace: American Crime Story" are starting to take shape after behind-the-scene photos of the second installment of the true crime anthology made their way online.

Daily Mail posted some of the photos taken on the set of the "American Crime Story" season 3, where actor Edgar Ramirez is spotted sporting facial prosthetics for his role as the late fashion designer Gianni Versace.

The actor was filming the scene where Versace is being carried by a gurney toward an emergency vehicle from the Miami Beach Fire Department.

Aside from Ramirez, the upcoming "Versace: American Crime Story" TV series will also star Penelope Cruz as Versace's sister Donatella Versace, Ricky Martin as the late designer's partner Antonio D'Amico, and Darren Criss who will portray the role of killer Andrew Cunanan.

Earlier reports claimed that music icon-actress Lady Gaga will be the one to portray the role of Donatella on the show, but series creator Ryan Murphy clarified in an interview with Variety back in January that the "Black Romance" singer cannot commit to the show because of her busy schedule.

"When you're going to do a show like Versace, it's a five-month commitment, it's a very big show, we're shooting it all over the world. So I just don't think with her schedule, I knew that it would never had worked," Murphy stated. "But I would love to work with her on something in the future."

The 10-episode third installment of "American Crime Story" is expected to premiere in 2018 after the airing of season 2 that will center on the events after the Hurricane Katrina.

Meanwhile, the cast of "American Horror Story: Katrina" will include Annette Bening as the Louisiana governor Kathleen Blanco who was in office during the onset of the hurricane, as well as Matthew Broderick as the controversial Undersecretary of Emergency Preparedness and Response Michael D. Brown.

Also, actors Cuba Gooding Jr., Sarah Paulson, and Courtney B. Vance will be back in the series from the first season titled "American Horror Story: The People vs O.J. Simpson" in still undisclosed roles.
