FX's latest true crime anthology drama "American Crime Story" is slowly taking shape, as new cast members have been announced and the stars of the show have been seen on the set.

Recently, Broadway star and Tony Award nominee Billy Magnussen was cast to portray the role of media personality Kato Kaelin.

Kaelin was involved in the highly controversial O.J. Simpson prosecution trial for the murder of Simpson's wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman — the high-profile court case which the series is based on. Kaelin became a minor witness during the 1995 trial since he was staying at the guest house of the Simpsons during the time of the murder.

Aside from Magnussen, "The Cosby Show" alum Malcolm-Jamal Warner also landed a role in the 10-episode series. Warner portrays the role of A.C. Cowling, a former professional football player and one of Simpson's closest friends. Cowling became infamous for driving the white Ford Bronco with Simpson as his passenger during the talked-about police chase that was televised nationwide during the time of the trial.

The actors will join the stellar cast roster for Ryan Murphy's new anthology series, including Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. Simpson, John Travolta as Robert Shapiro, David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark, Jordana Brewster as Denise Brown, Courtney B. Vance as Johnnie Cocjran, Connie Britton as Faye Resnick, Kenneth Choi as Judge Lance Ito, as well s Selma Blair as Kris Jenner.

TMZ recently spotted some of the cast members of "American Crime Story" on the set, and each of them has a striking resemblance to the characters they portray.

Early this week, Schwimmer told the press present during the programming presentation of Fox that he met up with the real Kris Jenner to talk about his character.

"I thought, 'Who better to tell me who Robert was as a husband and a father than her?' And it's been a very exciting process so far," the former "Friends" star shared.

Jenner was married to Schwimmer's character for 13 years before the couple divorced three years prior to the murder trial.

The principal photography for "American Crime Story" began this month in California.
