The first full trailer for FX Network's "American Crime Story" has been released.

According to E! News, the upcoming true crime anthology show's first season will follow the highly publicized O.J. Simpson murder trial. The season has been given the subtitle "The People v. O.J. Simpson."

Scenes featuring some of the show's cast members are included in the trailer. The story will reportedly not only revolve around the case, but also the lives of the people involved. It also boasts that the series, consisting of 10 episodes, will be the real story behind the trial.

A chilling text also appears in the trailer, "You saw the chase, the trial, but you didn't see the half of it. The trial isn't the whole story. This is."

In an interview with Paper Mag, Sarah Paulson, who is playing head prosecutor Marcia Clark, revealed details of the show's plot.

"It's much more about the lawyers and O.J. too, in terms of what everyone's lives were like when the trials were going on. You learn about Marcia's personal life and the really hideous realities that were going on with her. She's going through a terrible divorce; she's got custody issues with a three and a five-year-old child. She's a civil servant thrust on the national stage and completely ill-equipped for all of that," she explained.

Joining Paulson are Cuba Gooding, Jr. as O.J. Simpson, John Travolta as defense attorney Robert Shapiro, David Schwimmer as defense attorney Robert Kardashian and Courtney B. Vance as defense lead Johnny Cochran, Jr.

The show was created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski and is based on a book by Jeffrey Toobin titled "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson." Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk serve as executive producers. Murphy and Falchuk were also the creative minds behind the "American Horror Story" anthology series, "Scream Queens" and "Glee."

"American Crime Story" is set hit the small screen on Feb. 2, 2016 on FX.
