In less than a month, FX will finally release the anticipated new crime anthology drama "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson," but critics are already praising Ryan Murphy's upcoming show.

During the holiday break, Fox shared the first six episodes of the new mini-series with the press to give them the chance to watch it before the rest of the public in February.

In a report by Slash Film, many of those who watched the show were impressed with the plot and superb acting skills shown by the cast of the true crime drama.

On social media, The Hollywood Reporter's Matthew Belloni expressed his praises for the show.

Meanwhile, Buzzfield's Jarett Wieselman and another The Hollywood Reporter staff writer, Daniel Fienberg praised the actors involved.

The 10-episode mini-series will focus on the murder and the highly publicized trial against former NFL star O.J. Simpson, based on the events written in Jeffrey Toobin's book "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson." It will also feature the infamous car chase involving a white Ford Bronco SUV that Simpson rode in order to avoid arrest.

Simpson was acquitted from two counts of murders filed against him for the death of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and friend Ronald Goldman in Oct. 1995, but the case is still unresolved up to this day.

The upcoming mini-series stars Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. Simpson, Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark, David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, Courtney B. Vance as Johnnie Cochran, Kenneth Choi as Judge Lance Ito, as well as John Travolta as Robert Shapiro.

Selma Blair also appears on the show as Robert Kardashian's wife Kris, who is now more popularly known as Kris Jenner.

"American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson" premieres on FX on Feb. 2.
