Fans of "American Horror Story: Hotel" may have rejoiced with the return of the show this season, but the same thing cannot be said for the Parents Television Council (PTC).

The council was not too delighted with what showrunner Ryan Murphy has shown the audiences in his FX show "Hotel" due to explicit story lines. Not only was "Hotel" bombarded with criticisms but also Murphy's other show, "Scream Queens" on FOX.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, council president Tim Winter sent emails to their subscribers urging them to boycott the FX series following the season 5 premiere that showed a bloody orgy scene involving Matt Bomer and Lady Gaga, who plays the gruesome owner of the hotel.

That was not just it — the premiere episode also showed Gabriel, played by "New Girl's" Max Greenfield, sodomized by a featureless man known as the Addiction Demon.

Winter went on to describe the episode as an "unbelievably explicit combination of sex and violence," as stated in the report from The Hollywood Reporter.

PTC is calling out to "Hotel's" sponsors, Subway in particular, to be more responsible when it comes to advertising.

The council is also calling out to cable channel purchasers and reminding them that they also play a role in promoting the show, which contains the most graphic TV content that the group has encountered, through the subscription fees.

"Hotel" was not the only Murphy creation backlashed, as "Scream Queens" was also criticized for its theme of necrophilia and mutilation during its pilot episode.

The show is ironically sponsored by McDonald's and airs on TV during family hour in Mountain and Central time zones.

This is not the first time that Murphy's shows were heavily criticized by the PTC. His 2003 FX show "Nip/Tuck" was also targeted, along with the previous seasons of "American Horror Story."

"American Horror Story: Hotel" airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST on FX, while "Scream Queens" airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
