'American Horror Story' season 4 [FX]: Watch 90-minute premiere episode tonight

'American Horror Story' Season 4 to premiere on October 8.

With four freaky teasers being released by FX for "American Horror Story: Freak Show", series creator Ryan Murphy has made an official announcement that the premiere of the show's fourth season will be 90 minutes long.

"Excited to announce the AHS: Freak Show Premiere on October 8 will be a super-sized 90 minutes," the writer wrote on his Twitter page.

Murphy further tweeted: "AHS Fans, you are also getting a big preview, the main title and TWO cast documentaries this week. Happy October!"

Fans can also look forward to a very creepy and freaky season after the release of the show's teasers, which highlighted a number of odd characters doing even more bizarre things.

In one of the clips, entitled "Strange Twist", a woman had been shown with her shoulders being twisted to the front of her body. Another female with a pair of a man's hands was put forward in a teaser called "Hand in Hand."

FX had also shown an impressive circus performer in the "Warped" teaser and a strange man with an unknown creepy thing in his mouth in the "Let It Out" footage.

In his interview with BuzzFeed, Murphy mentioned that the audiences are in for a greater scare, especially with Twisty the Clown, the show's main antagonist, joining the character lineup with John Carroll Lynch portraying the role.

"We said in the writer's room that if we were going to do clowns, we were going to create the most terrifying clown of all time," the series creator said. "That was our goal when we were writing him, but I'm worried about people being too afraid of our clown. It's heart-stopping what he does."

"American Horror Story" will be back on the small screen on October 8 for the premiere of its fourth season.
