Emma Roberts recently spoke about the possibility of her appearing in "American Horror Story" season 6 after fans missed her in the fifth season of the FX horror anthology.

The actress revealed at the San Diego Comic Con that she was supposed to be part of the last season, although she did not detail what stopped that from happening.

However, she expressed her interest to make an appearance in "American Horror Story" season 6. "I would love to go back and do a few episodes," Roberts stated.

The actress made her "American Horror Story" debut back in the third season, titled "Coven." She was also part of the fourth season dubbed "Freak Show."

Her appearance in "American Horror Story" season 6 is obviously not set in stone yet, especially with her busy schedule. She is currently busy promoting her upcoming film "Nerve."

Roberts is also in the middle of filming the second season of "Scream Queens," which just went into production. However, it looks like a recurring role could be possible.

Meanwhile, the theme for "American Horror Story" season 6 is still being kept on a lid. However, there are a lot of speculations going around.

Fans and media outlets have been throwing around theories about what the season will be all about based on show creator Ryan Murphy's tease that it would play with the "innocence of children."

This was certainly at play in the show's Fearless Virtual Reality Experience from SDCC. A clip was released showing a cadaver being reeled somewhere.

The "American Horror Story" season 6 clip then showed glimpses of babies and body parts such as heads and hands sealed in big containers.

From the looks of it, the upcoming season of the series might indeed be big on children. What the approach will be, fans will find out when "American Horror Story" season 6 nears its Sept. 14 premiere on FX.
