The 47-second clip, which puts together the biggest highlights of the show, showed the words "You'll never forget the first." It started with Kelly Clarkson as an aspiring singer, who went on to become the first ever winner of the long-running contest.

The trailer gives fans the chance to remember the show's firsts with Clarkson's moments from introducing herself to the show's original judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, declaring her will to become the next American Idol and eventually keeping her word.

Her phenomenal rendition of "A Moment Like This," which she sang when she was declared champion, served as the backdrop of the special and memorable scenes of other victors of the competition. In the clip, the moving winning moments of past "American Idol" winners were all played back.

Fans see glimpses of Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry, Kris Allen, David Cook, Jordin Sparks, Lee DeWyze, Ruben Studdard and Phillip Phillips who are all big stars today. Carrie Underwood can also be seen reliving how the show changed her life.
