The previous episode of "American Idol" season 15, the final season for the long-running show, saw Avalon Young and Lee Jean hit the bottom three and were eventually eliminated from the group of finalists. That doesn't mean their music career is over as a recent interview with Billboard magazine reveals their future plans.

Despite being eliminated, Young confirmed that she was going to go back and hit the studio soon, indicating that a studio album was in the works and could be released in the near future. Unfortunately, the artist did not elaborate on any specific schedule or release window for her new studio project.

Jean, on the other hand, explained that he would continue with his music career and that he wants to serve as an inspiration for other young artists.

" I didn't have much of anything before this. Now I have a following," he stated. "I'm 16. This is not where it's going to stop. There are so many things I want to do. There are so many things I haven't gotten to do yet because I'm 16. I have so much to learn and I have so much experience to gain. This is not the last time you'll see me."

Jean also stated that he would be "everywhere" if he had the opportunity, indicating that the young artist would be appearing on television and other projects as soon as possible. Fans speculate that this will be Jean's method of remaining relevant in a world that can easily move on and forget an artist in favor of something new.

In regards to their elimination, both artists explained that the experience of being on "American Idol" was revolutionary and that it never felt like a competition given that they had grown so close with the other artists. Both also pointed out artist La'Porsha Renae, hinting that she may win the show's final season.

"American Idol" season 15 will continue with the Finals this coming March 17.
