A new wave of Amiibos will be rolling out next month.

Already on its sixth wave, the Amiibo figurines were popular to collectors and hardcore fans alike. In fact, one of the many concerns that plagued Amiibo releases in the past is that demand for some of the Amiibo figures skyrocket fast that supply cannot keep up, resulting in order backlogs. Nintendo has already said that is taking steps to ensure that the problems will not crop up again.

Meanwhile, the company is set to release nine new Amiibos next month. To roll out in two groups, the first group will be released on September 11 in North America. The five Amiibos will be Bowser Jr. atop his Koopa Clown Car, Dr. Mario, Gandondorf; Olimar, and Zero Suit Samus. In addition, there will be a new special Mario Amiibo released for the 30th anniversary of "Super Mario Bros.". This special edition Mario is compatible with the upcoming "Super Mario Maker", while the five Amiibos can be used for the "Super Smash Bros." brawler for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

The second group of Amiibo will roll out on September 25, and this will be the trio of Duck Hunt, Mr. Game & Watch, and R.O.B. figurines. All three are also compatible for "Super Smash Bros." game. However, the trio will be bundled in the Retro 3 pack and will not be sold separately.

For Amiibo fans, the sixth wave is not the last group of Amiibos for this year. Nintendo has already laid out plans for additional Amiibos during this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Scheduled for release in November are three new Mii Fighter Amiibos, which will also be retailed as a bundle. Meanwhile, Nintendo will also be releasing a second Amiibo to commemorate the 30th anniversary of "Super Mario Bros.".
