Amir Khan next fight news 2015: Eddie Hearn making Wembley advanced preparations

Word about Amir Khan turning his attention on Kell Brook has been plaguing the news thus far and Kell Brook promoter Eddie Hearn is loving it.

In fact, he is loving it so much that he has even gone to the extent of booking the Wembley Stadium for June 4, 2016 despite the fact that nothing has been set yet on stone.

With Khan reportedly already out of the running as Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao's final opponent for April 9, 2016, the British southpaw is opting to move forward. And from the looks of it, part of that is turning his attention on Brook, the boxer whom he initially did not want to fight.

That is, of course, music to the ears of Brook who has been adamant about wanting to face Khan. With seemingly whittled down choices, Khan seems to have broadened his outlook even if it meant facing his countryman.

However, there are certain issues that could hinder the fight from happening.

One is that Brook has a pending fight with Diego Chaves which would need to be resolved. Then there is that mandate by the International Boxing Federation (IBF) calling for Kevin Bizier to get next crack at Brook.

On the side of Khan, there is the fight date to consider. Khan observes the Ramadan religiously and such may be a concern, seeing that the fight will happen on June 6.

Hence, booking Wembley could be just one aspect that Hearn will have to address. The nitty gritty part is making ends meet, addressing the issues concerning both fighters to make the blockbuster match a reality.

The fight stands to be the best tiff next to the celebrated bout between Carl Froch and George Groves, one of the reason as to perhaps why Hearn is throwing in everything to make the fight happen.
