Anderson Silva next UFC fight news 2015: Can Uriah Hall handle the Spider?

Is Uriah Hall for real? Apparently, his surprise win over Gegard Mousasi has been the talk of the town lately; some call it a lucky kick that certainly shot him up in the middleweight rankings.

Hall has benefited dramatically from the win and now, pundits are trying to figure a suitable opponent for Hall.

To recall a bit, Hall scored perhaps the biggest win at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Japan. He came in as a perennial underdog (4–1) against the iron-jawed Mousasi, and the end result was certainly something that caught everyone by surprise.

The move alone is under the radar. Was Hall's spinning back kick intended to hit Mousasi in the face or the body? Apparently, some were left unimpressed, calling it a lucky kick. But don't tell that to Hall.

Hall credits the move to timing. He does have some karate background so in a way, the move could have been done intentionally. And true enough, it hit its mark.

Regardless, the win is officially in the record books; now the question is whom will Hall face next? Could he be primed against Anderson Silva?

The Spider is, of course, still serving his suspension, at least until Jan. 31, 2016. But after that, it remains to be seen what Silva has planned.

He did mention that he could be facing Michael Bisping by April, but all that has yet to be confirmed.

If not Silva who else? Bisping? Lyoto Machida? It seems the list of possible opponents could go on and on. Although many see him inconsistent, it remains that after his win over Mousasi, he has earned the right to move up and near the title contender niche.

With that in mind, a good step would be to test his mettle against a UFC legend. Of course, Silva fits that niche. So the only thing left would be to make it happen. When could that possibly be?
