Android 4.4.3 Kitkat OS may roll out soon as the changelog of the said OS leaked online and hinted some of the Nexus 8 features.

According to Android Geeks, The leaked changelog named two Google devices dubbed as Molly and Flounder. It seemed that Flounder was allegedly the Google Nexus 8 tablet. Meanwhile, Molly could be a Google TV with a new user interface called AndroidAtHome. One of the changes hinted by the changelog is a change on font and layout on the screen.

Previous reports claimed that Google Nexus 8 will replace 2013 Nexus 7 and will battle head on with the next generation of Apple's iPad Mini with Retina Display. The reports added that enlarging the screen size will allow the tablet to enter the 8-inch market. Google thinks that that there is lesser competition in the 8-inch category that would yield profits to the company.

The search engine giant may follow its usual launch window in July. Grapevine also noted that Nexus 8 may come with a more expensive price tag due to a larger screen display as well as bump in the specs and features. Rumor has it that Google was working closely with Taiwanese manufacturer HTC in making the 8-inch tablet.

Meanwhile, the Android 4.4.3 Kitkat OS update should roll out by the end of this month bringing bug fixes to the issues brought about by 4.4.2 version of Kitkat. However, Google has not revealed the concrete details and release of the last update for the Kitkat OS.

There were doubts whether Google would still release the 4.4.3 Kitkat OS update since it will not be so long before it unveils the all-new Android OS late next month. It was initially speculated that Google Nexus 8 will be released at I/O conference in June alongside Android 4.5 Lollipop. Other reports claimed Google will still release Android 4.5 by the end of the year in September or October.
