Google is working hard to have all Android devices clad in its newest operating system. Among the horde of Android loyalists that await the arrival of the Android 5.0 Lollipop, Samsung smartphone flagship owners and those who use the LG G3 are about to have their sweet fate unfold.

According to French telecommunications company SFR, as echoed by Christian Times, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will finally get the taste of Lollipop this month. However, it is important to note that users of the 5.1-inch smartphone in Poland and South Korea already had theirs dolled up. Countries next-door are projected to get the operating system on theirs before long.

On the other hand, LG G3 is expected to upgrade to the latest software this month as well, as the company teased its fans about Android 5.0 Lollipop "coming soon." Meanwhile, Samsung's metal-caked heavyweight handset, Galaxy Note 4, will have to wait until next month before a Lollipop makeover comes its way. Originally though, a purported December launch was predicted.

At the dawn of Google's tasty software, its very own offerings namely the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 are among the firsts that experienced Lollipop. As the rollout progressed, the Google Play Edition of HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 had it onboard next. The latest to get a hold of Lollipop are the Moto X, Moto G and Moto E.

Android 5.0 Lollipop promises rich and vivid colors paired with beautiful animations, thanks to the Material Design it boasts. In addition, notifications are displayed on the home and lock screen, and regulation and access to certain apps and the handset is made possible with the new operating system. Furthermore, security is enhanced with an accurate fingerprint sensor. On the whole, smartphones donning Lollipop will notice improved performance and protracted battery life. All that while looking nice and sleek.
