Android 5.0 Lollipop news have been circulating all over the Internet recently, and most of them involve the rollout of the updated mobile operating system to several devices. 

Today, Nokia surprised everyone when the company released the brand new tablet called N1, and it runs using the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.  The N1 tablet allegedly features a 7.9-inch IPS LCD display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. It also has a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz with 2 GB of RAM and a PowerVR G6430 GPU.  The Nokia tablet also comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera as well as a 5-megapixel secondary front-facing camera.

Meanwhile, the Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout to all of its last-generation Nexus devices turned out to be slow. At the moment, most Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, and Nexus 4 are still running the Android 4.4.4 KitKat despite the announcement that Google will update the software earlier this month. 

Earlier, the update rollout took a back slide after Nexus devices faced several issues when they received the over-the-air Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Google decided to delay the complete rollout for a few weeks to fix the bug. Fortunately, the developers of the mobile operating system managed to address the issue promptly.

In October, Google released a number of new product lines including the Nexus 6 smartphone manufactured by Motorola and the Nexus 9 tablet that comes from HTC. Both devices will reportedly come with the Android 5.0 Lollipop once they are released. 

Aside from Nexus devices, other mobile brands announced that they will offer the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the coming days, including Motorola, LG, and Sony. The Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi is also reportedly coming up with their own Android 5.0 Lollipop update after leaked photos of Xiaomi Mi3 running with the operating system software were released in Weibo. 

Other popular mobile brands like Samsung are also expected to announce their own rollout schedule soon.
