More and more versions of Samsung's flagship phone, the Galaxy S5, are getting Google's latest Android operating system. Since Lollipop hit the shores of Poland and South Korea earlier in December, users in neighboring countries have long wondered when theirs will see the software. And it turns out that Spain is the next destination of the Lollipop update. Media outlets started reporting that the country will get it before long. The firmware is also reportedly on its way to other European countries. 

Gotta Be Mobile, on the other hand, is keeping everyone in the U.S. up to speed about the new operating system. The site said that Samsung will rollout Android 5.0 Lollipop to versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5 distributed by carriers in January. This came from an alleged email leak by a Samsung employee, who claims that the South-Korean company will be on the move for the launch of the sweet update at the start of the new year. 

The leak, which was posted on Reddit, also declares that Samsung will start with retailers in firing up Lollipop. The firm will apparently prepare their staff for the rollout ahead of the nearing U.S. release. After working on the S5, smartphones allegedly next in line are the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge and at a later time, the Galaxy S4 and Note 3. 

Gotta Be Mobile also reminds its readers that carriers may or may not get hold of the update. And if T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint and Verizon will, it is almost certain that timeframe for the rollout will vary. A series of testing and delays may encumber the launch but it is all for an impeccably-running Lollipop to emerge. IDigital Times mentioned a leak containing an update of the software on the S5 model SM-G900P. According to the site, XDA developers crafted the update, with build number PVPU1BNKD.
