While speculations about the features of the upcoming Android N are already floating online, some tech manufacturers and mobile carriers are not yet finished rolling out the current Android M platform. According to a new update roadmap by Samsung, the update for the company's entire lineup will still take some time.

According to Android Authority, the alleged new roadmap spells out the Android Marshmallow rollout for some of the lineups of the South Korea-based tech giant. The products in the schedule include the Galaxy Note 5 and the entire Galaxy S6 family. If the new roadmap is to be believed, the current-gen top-tier devices of Samsung will receive an OTA update for Android 6.0 sometime this month.

Some fans are taking the new information with a grain of salt since this is not the first time that an alleged leak of Samsung's Android update schedule has floated online. Previously, a supposed roadmap also appeared, indicating that Samsung flagships like the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will get their Android Marshmallow updates in February.

Phone Arena was the one to get hold of the document, saying that the information is "from a source familiar with Samsung's plans about the company's dates for the Android 6 Marshmallow update." In the supposed internal document, the Android 6.0 update continues for Samsung's other flagships, including its tablet lineup. Reportedly, the Android 6.0 versions for the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge have already been approved and will roll out in April. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S5 will receive its new platform in May and the Galaxy Alpha in June. The new platform is also indicated as already being tested for the 8.0-inch Galaxy Tab S2, as well as the larger, 9.7-inch version.
