Android Silver concept image over-the-top features, specs

The new Android Silver concept image packs premium specs and features.

It has not been long ago since rumors about Android Silver smartphone emerged online. However, creative minds already started imagining Google's alleged high end and more expensive smartphone. The new render of Android Silver smartphone is designed by Rishi Ramesh.

According to Concept Phones, the concept image will pack a 5.1 inch QHD display, which is definitely the current trend of most smartphones in the market. Other smartphones pack not less than 5 inches screen panel. Moreover, most handsets are rumored to come with QHD display resolution.

The handset will pack a Snapdragon 805 processor and 3 GB of RAM. At the back, the concept image will sport a 16 megapixel camera with OIS and 4K video capture. Based on the photos, the user interface has not changed compared to the current Android UI.

New rumors claimed that the Android Silver program will replace the current Nexus line. Reliable tipster @evleaks tweeted that the Android Silver will debut in February 2015. The same Twitter user posted "There is no Nexus 6. Farewell, Nexus." then it was followed by another tweet "Don't worry there's a silver lining to this cloud..."

Last month, The Verge ran stories about the Android Silver program which will be a line that will feature higher end devices to compete with its rivals like iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5. There were reports saying that the current Nexus 5 will be the last smartphone in the Nexus line.

Reports added that Android Silver program aims to deliver devices with top of the line specs and features that runs with pure Android software. Grapevine also said that Google will sterilize the Android system and will come only on the devices of trusted third party manufacturers.

As usual, Google has not revealed the official details of the Android Silver program. However, more information about the smartphone is expected to be known at I/O conference in June 25.
