"Unqualified" author and "Scary Movie" actress Anna Faris and rumored boyfriend cinematographer Michael Barrett seemed to be getting closer by day, with a recent sighting seeing the two visiting some of their closest friends.

Faris reportedly introduced Barrett to her friends during the weekend. The rumored-to-be-dating pair was photographed as they said goodbye to their friends. Photos showed that Faris and Barrett were dressed casually.

The two were spotted several times during the past few months as rumors started circulating that there was a budding romance between the two of them.

Faris and Barrett met on the set of "Overboard," where the former starred. The couple was first seen at a carnival in Malibu in September, sporting baseball caps while seemingly trying to hide from paparazzi. This was followed by dinner for two consecutive nights at the posh Modo Mio in Los Angeles.

Apart from this, the cinematographer and "The House Bunny" actress were seen grabbing lunch at Cutters Crabhouse in Seattle. This time, the two looked confident and did not mind the photographers, as Faris wrapped her hand around Barret's arm while they were looking into each other's eye.

Faris was previously married to "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt, with whom she shares a 5-year-old son, Jack. They decided to end their eight-year marriage when they announced in August this year that they were going separate ways. Despite this, Faris maintained that they were still good friends and added that "[Pratt]'s amazing. We're great friends and we always will be."

Meanwhile, Pratt has kept mum on the issue and seemed to have taken a hiatus in social media. Recently, however, the "Jurassic Park" actor uploaded a photo of him, his brother Cully, and Jack flexing their muscles after they saw "Thor: Ragnarok."
