Actress Anna Faris might be losing her faith in the sacrament of marriage. The "Mom" star admitted in a podcast interview that she's not in a hurry to walk the aisle again after two divorces.

Speaking with Dax Shepard on the podcast "Armchair Expert," Faris said that she has a lot of questions about the purpose of marriage. She would have to figure this out before she exchanges "I do's" with boyfriend Michael Barrett.

"Is it safety for your children? Is it convention?" Faris asked. "Is it so other people respect your relationship more?" she probed further. "For me, I'm just not quite sure where it fits."

Faris was first married to actor Ben Indra in 2004, but their relationship ended in divorce in 2008. A year later, Faris married "Jurassic World" star Chris Pratt and they raised a son together. In August 2017, however, the former couple shocked fans, who thought they had the perfect marriage, when they announced they were separating after eight years together.

The actress' comments, however, drew criticism. People accused Faris of competing in her marriage to Pratt, whose star power in Hollywood grew because of his blockbuster movies while her career on the big screen stalled.

Some also hinted that Faris questioned marriage because she didn't want to be a faithful and committed spouse. In her memoir "Unqualified," Faris revealed that she developed a strong attraction for Pratt while they were doing a movie together in 2007 and she was still married to her first husband.

Faris, however, said that she and Pratt shared an "unbelievable marriage," which helped them become good friends today. The ex-couple co-parent their son, Jack, who is now five years old.

Meanwhile, Pratt hasn't had a serious relationship since splitting with Faris. When he's not working on the set, the Christian actor can be seen attending church services with his son or supporting Christian music artists.
