Anne Graham Lotz says God keeping her father Billy alive to prepare people for the return of Jesus

Anne Graham Lotz, founder of AnGel Ministries, believes God is keeping her father Billy Graham alive so that he will still be able to reach out to the lost and guide people through the end of times.

Graham, who is already 97 years old, is mostly confined to his bed and wheelchair, Lotz said. Even though he still has a clear mind, it "doesn't move as quick as it used to," she added.

Lotz made this revelation during the recent Family Research Council's 2016 "Watchmen on the Wall" conference, according to The Christian Post.

The author of "The Daniel Prayer: Prayer That Moves Heaven and Changes Nations" strongly believes that the second coming of Jesus Christ will happen during her lifetime. She has repeatedly said that the warning signs indicated in the Book of Revelations have started to unfold, what with major natural disasters happening all over the world and the Islamic State continuing to pose threats to the civilised world.

"I thought it had to do with the Return of Jesus and I won't go there right now, but I wonder also if [my father] is here... to be an encouragement to you — that there is a man that is still faithful, still has a heart for the Gospel, heart for God, heart for the lost and still prays," she reflected. "In fact, he prays in his preaching voice. He is still kicking. Maybe that will encourage you to be faithful through persevering in the ministry to which God has called you."

In an interview following her speech, Lotz said it's rare for anyone to live up to 97 years old nowadays. She believes it's no accident that her father has been blessed with such a long life.

"God is not whimsical and He does everything intentionally. The fact that my father is still here, God is holding him for a reason," she said. "One of the things that I thought possibly — only God would know — when my father goes to Heaven, one more time, the Gospel will be preached to the whole world."
