Apple recently released iOS 10 beta 7 to developers just days after releasing beta 6. The company seems to be in a hurry since the version is rumored to go public by next month.

Registered users of Apple's beta program under with a developer account can simply use their devices to download the latest seed via an over-the-air update. It can be accessed via Settings, then Software Update. It is around 60MB. The community is speculating that it may only contain a small security or bug fix patch, hence the size. It also means that there will be no added feature on this update, MacRumors reported.

For those developers who have not downloaded anything, the whole package can be downloaded after signing in on the Apple Developer site, and will be transferred to the respective device via iTunes. However, users with a public beta account will only be able to download the older seed, which is the beta 6, also OTA.

Cult of Mac mentioned that the latest beta seed contains many known issues that are still being fixed, but also brings along several under-the-hood improvements, as well as critical bug fixes.

Apple has not mentioned any official word on how many beta seeds will be rolled out for iOS 10, but experts on the matter say that this might be the last one or second to the last.

iOs 10 is the biggest software update the company has undertaken and contains more new features than its predecessor.

Apple is expected to release the public version of iOS 10 before mid-September. It is also speculated that the iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2 could possibly arrive as well. However, no official release date was mentioned by the company.
