A glitch in the iOS 9 beta is informing users that a full version of the new software is already available. Apparently, a pop-up notification invites those testing the beta version to upgrade to the complete version of the iOS, which isn't ready to be rolled out yet. 

"A new iOS update is available. Please update from the iOS 9 beta," the pop-up reads.

But checking the settings and software update panel reveals that the download link for the said update is missing. Interestingly, the glitch showed up a couple of days before the full version of the iOS 9 is unveiled to the public. 

Apple iOS 9 was announced during the Worldwide Developers Conference back in June. It was promised to bring improvements to the overall performance of smartphones. Siri, for one, is drastically revamped. The digital assistant, which is touted to be 40 percent more accurate and has the new proactive functionality, is expected to be the focus of the event. 

Along with it, Apple has added features such as a Low Power Mode, which should keep mobile devices alive longer than usual. There is also a new HomeKit app as well as an improved Apple Maps app. Apple iOS 9 also provides a newfound ability of split-screen multitasking for iPad users. 

Apple is expected to showcase the newest iteration of the software on Sept. 9, along with a slew of other products such as the Apple TV and the rumor mill favorites, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. As per Inquirer, iOS 9 Gold Master, the penultimate version before final release, will be launched shortly after this event. The real deal will be made available to the public on Sept. 16.
