iPad Pro problems: Blackout issue out of hand; Apple shares makeshift remedy

Users are starting to grumble about newfound issues with the freshly released iPad Pro. Less than a week after the giant tablet made it outside Apple's doors, there emerged complaints about the device's problems with power and charging.

The monstrous slab's screen suddenly goes black, and most times, it doesn't respond to taps or presses especially after it is being charged up. The Touch ID and home button are rendered useless when users try to wake the device up.

Needless to say, users did not waste time to share the hiccup and started to flock the support page of the company to relay their concern and to get a solution out of Apple.

One user shared that an hour after plugging the iPad Pro to juice up, the screen goes completely black. In getting it working again, one hard reset doesn't do the trick apparently. The same thing happened to a bunch of users and it seems that doesn't happen only once.

Apple has recognized the growing concern and assured that it is currently "investigating" the matter and is now working on fixing the issue. For the time being, the company provided plagued users a makeshift way out of the irksome glitch on the tech firm's support page.

"To get back to using your iPad Pro, force restart it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo," the Cupertino-based company instructed.

As of this writing, Apple has yet to eliminate the culprit. It did not provide a timeframe for when disturbed owners of the 12.9-inch tablet can expect to receive a concrete fix on the blackout issue.

Apple has a lot going on at the moment. Its mobile payment service Apple Pay was just made accessible in Australia and Canada. There are rumors that the tech giant is also already working on the iPhone 7, which is said to come in a 4.7-inch variant.
