Details about the long-rumored Apple iPad Pro Mini just keep on trickling away online. This time, new information has emerged about the tablet's price tag.

A new leak claims that the starting price of the upcoming 9.7-inch tablet will be at $599. This is the base unit, which has 32GB storage and is a Wi-Fi only model.

Of course, there will be versions of the Apple iPad Pro Mini offering up 128 GB of storage and LTE cellular network support that will be made available by the Cupertino-based company.

Apart from the actual values of the iPad Pro Mini units, this new information does not only help Apple fans prep up for the device's release but it also offers details on Apple's plans for the iPad Air family, which is believed to have been scrapped for the iPad Pro.

The $599 price tag of the 32GB iPad Pro Mini is in line with the pricing of iPad Air 2's 16GB version at $499. Reports say that Apple is keeping the iPad Air line as the option for the budget-conscious.

The Apple iPad Pro Mini is expected to be launched at Apple's highly anticipated event tomorrow, March 21. The 9.7-inch tablet will, of course, sport features seen in the original iPad Pro.

Not only is the smaller iPad Pro getting an A9X processor to keep its lights on, it will allegedly support the accessories of the 12.9-inch tablet such as the (smaller) Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil.

The Apple iPad Pro Mini will allegedly have four stereo speakers and a brighter display. In the imaging department, users are looking at a 12MP rear camera with 4K video recording.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro will be introduced tomorrow alongside the new 4-inch iPhone dubbed the iPhone SE, which will somewhat be a hybrid of both the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6S.
