Apple has not made the so-called iPhone 6s official but rumors and speculations about almost every aspect of the phone run wild. For one, the device is said to be released alongside a Plus version. For another, the iPhone 7, according to rumors, is an entirely different device expected to come out with the former two smartphones in fall. 

A report from Ecumenical News is claiming (listing Mobile News as source) that "possible" pre-orders for the "new iPhone" from Vodafone could start on Sept. 18 and that the telecommunications company already informed its staff via e-mail as part of their preparation. However, this is still unfounded. 

There are also speculations that aside from the 4.7-inch Apple iPhone 6s and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus, there will be a third one with a 4-inch display, catering to iPhone lovers who find the flagship handsets a bit cumbersome. 

Just recently, there were also reports claiming that Apple is planning to upgrade its new smartphones' camera department. The iPhone to don the new iOS 9 will most likely get a revamped Facetime camera with the addition of a flash, slow motion and 1080p video recording and panorama. 

This is what developer Hamza Sood managed to hollow out in the early developer previews of the operating system currently in the works. These functions suggest that Apple is finding new ways to make its well-loved camera units much more lovable than they already are while keeping up with its competitors. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus may include this improved camera. 

The rest of the specs sheet include an A9 processor unit and a 2 GB RAM upgrade. There will also be Touch ID and the long-rumored inclusion of the Force Touch feature introduced in the Apple Watch, technology which interprets different touch pressures into respective functions. 

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are expected to show up on Sept. 18 or Sept. 25.
