Apple iPhone rumors: Three phones planned for 2019

Apple's flagship, the iPhone, did not do as well as the manufacturer expected with the iPhone X and iPhone 8 being released just a few months ago. This year will go by without a new release from Apple, at least when it comes to iPhones. However, 2019 will apparently have three new iPhone models.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is planning to release a trio of iPhones. One of them — which everyone has probably already expected as it had become a meme as well — will feature a bigger screen. The second will have upgraded features presumably like the first but has the same size as the iPhone X. The last and third will be a "cheaper" model with only some of the high-end's features.

For the first phone, this is Apple's attempt to appeal to the people's preference for the "phablet" or a phone tablet, due to its multitasking capability. This new and largest model of the iPhone will apparently have 6.5-inches compared with the 6.3-inches of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

All the three alleged iPhones will possibly bring back the Face ID feature as well. In terms of speed, it would have the A12 processor and an upgraded version of the iOS, which is codenamed "Peace." This upgraded iOS is said to have better augmented-reality features, better monitoring of health and fitness and of course, the Animojis, per IGN.

Apple's efforts to make three new models are primarily aimed at making up for the lost sales from the iPhone X. The manufacturer speculates that the reason for such was the delivery delays, but most people would likely disagree and attribute the issue to the phone itself.

Fans will just have to wait until next year to see if Apple will actually be able to make up for the iPhone X. For now, it does not seem like they will be returning the audio jack any time soon.
