A message posted on Apple's website formally announces the company's "Spring Forward" event where, as majority of tech experts believe, the Apple Watch will take center stage. The event, preceded by Apple sending out press invites, is scheduled to happen on Monday, March 9, and is set to take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

Aside from the site's announcement of the schedule, no official word has yet been made on what the company will talk about during the event. However, the consensus among tech experts is that Apple will reveal specific details on the much-anticipated Apple Watch. 

General details have been made public about the wearable, including its scheduled rollout in April, and that it will be offered in both 38 mm and 42 mm thinness. Buyers will also have their choice between Standard, Sport, and Edition. 

It is also rumored that the "Spring Forward" event will answer the question about the Apple Watch's price range, since the company hasn't given specifics in this regard beyond its $349 minimum price. 

As what Apple did in the past, product users will also have the chance to view the forthcoming event via live streaming to be set up at www.apple.com/live at 10 a.m. PDT. For an immersive viewing experience, users who want to watch in real time will need to have the minimum specs installed on their devices. Mac computers need to have at least a Snow Leopard 10.6.8 as their OS, and Safari 5.1.10 or later versions as their browser. Those who will watch "Spring Forward" on their mobile devices should have their iPhones and iPads running iOS 6 at the minimum. The live stream can also be viewed via second- and third-generation Apple TVs running on 6.2 OS or higher.
