A recent series to hit TV screens is "Aquarius." Not to be confused with the 1970 British TV series of the same name, NBC's 2015 American drama is inspired by real-life events that happened in 1967, within Los Angeles. The said TV show features Det. Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny) and Ofc. Brian Shafe (Grey Damon) as they are led to Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony) through an investigation in the case of a missing girl.

NBC, prior to the show's debut last May 18, has sent members of the press copies of all 13 episodes for the first season. According to Matt Fowlers' published article on IGN.com, NBC sent out the episodes as "press screeners". The broadcasting company then, last May 29, proceeded to post all of Aquarius' season 1 episodes on their own portal, NBC.com and made it available for mobile devices through the NBC app. All the 13 episodes that are available on NBC.com, however, will be taken down between the last week of June and the first week of July. Even after releasing the full episodes online, NBC announced that it will still pursue its weekly release of the show's episodes. The show has already aired four episodes on TV since the series' TV debut last May 18.

In last week's episode, "Home is Where You're Happy", Sam was able to apprehend the Art's real murderer, which gets Mike released through an interview with Lucille Gladner, Art's widow. However, he missed and failed to see how Charlie Manson murdered Rue. Having executed the murder, Manson then took his daughter Emma back to the camp. After almost getting shot by Ken, Manson drugged Emma to brainwash her before Sam and Grace can take her away.

Episode 5, "A Change is Gonna Come", will start off with Sam and Grace resuming the sexual relationship they had. Sam is then hindered from investigating an arson, which he solves later in the episode, by Bunchy and some other Black Panther members. Emma will then be reported missing after Susan Atkins' visit to the Karn's House. Both Atkins and the girl are nowhere to be found. Later in the coming episode, an intoxicated Sam beats up Charlie but will then be stopped by Brian who was then accompanied by Jimmy Butano Jr., a mobster.

Aquarius' fifth episode will air this Thursday, June 18, on NBC.
