Argentina and Iran will clash at the Estadio Mineirao in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on Saturday in a big Group F game at the 2014 World Cup. Argentina will be overwhelming favorites to win here and all but guarantee their progression to the knock out stages of the tournament.

Today's game will kick off at 12 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ESPN. The game will also be available to watch online through live stream – free for subscribers – via the link provided below.

These two teams have only ever played once before, but that was way back in 1977, and ended in a 1-1 draw.

That game though will have little relevance on proceedings today, and it will be Argentina who will be favorites to gain a healthy win. They come into the clash in excellent form, winning 10 of their last 13 World Cup group games, drawing two and losing just one of those games. Over those 13 games they also have scored 26 goals and conceded just five.

The danger man for Argentina will of course be Lionel Messi. The Barcelona star has scored an amazing 21 goals in his last 21 appearances for Argentina, showing he can bring his domestic form onto the international stage too.

Today's game interestingly falls on the 16th anniversary to the day of their only ever World Cup Finals win. Sixteen years ago they defeated the United States, and they will be looking to celebrate that solitary win with another even bigger shock victory today.
