While Ariana Grande and Big Sean may seem nonchalant about the status of their relationship, the 26-year-old rapper recently addressed the speculations that he and the rising pop star are dating.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest last Sept. 26, Big Sean opened up about his feelings for Grande and emphasized that the 21-year-old singer is "very special" to him.

"I am going to tell you this: Ariana's very, very special. She's very special to me," Big Sean shared during his appearance on Seacrest's radio when asked if he was dating Grande. "Everything she has going on is good with her. Everything I have going on is good with me. Everything between me and her is good, and I'm just going to leave it at that."

The "Break Free" singer also made an appearance on the same on-air show last Aug. 26, and also played coy when asked about the status of her relationship with Big Sean.

Okay, Big Sean may not have flat out admitted that Ariana's his "girlfriend," but fans think it's safe to say they're dating.

"I mean, I guess [we're dating]," she admitted. "Curiosity man, it'll kill you. I don't know what to say, Ryan. Why are you doing this me? I'll tell you when we're not on the air. I trust you. I've known you a long time. I don't know about these millions of people listening in right now."

Speculations on Grande and Big Sean dating began last August when the two had been spotted holding hands backstage at the MTV Video Music Awards. The couple has kept mum about cozying up to each other, with Big Sean's responses to Seacrest's on-air questions as the latest "confirmation" of the duo's love affair.

While Grande had called it quits with her ex-beau comedy star Jai Brooks this year, Big Sean also put a stop to his own wedding and broke up with his ex-fiancé Naya Rivera of "Glee" last April.
