Singer Ariana Grande has always been under the public eye's scrutiny but the performer has never backed down from responding to negative comments. Her most recent act involves firing back at a male fan that posted sexist remarks on her Facebook page in regards to her new music video for the song "Dangerous Woman."

The fan stated that while he liked the song and the general concept of the video, he explicitly pointed out that the main problem was Ariana herself, whom he claimed looked like a "wh--e" while dressed in black lingerie and singing seductively at to camera.

In response, Ariana explained "When will people stop being offended by women showing skin/expressing sexuality? Men take their shirts off/express their sexuality on stage, in videos, on Instagram, anywhere they want to... all. the. time. The double standard is boring and exhausting. With all due respect, I think it's time you get your head out of your [explicit]. Women can love their bodies too."

It is undetermined at this point whether the fan has responded to Grande's comment or if the original post has since been deleted.

As stated in a report from E! Online, this is not the first time Ariana has responded to how women are treated on social media and in the entertainment circle in general. The star has also developed songs that speak up for the LGBT community, a move which she has also been attacked for multiple times.

The singer has also fired back against many others who have called her out in derogatory names simply for the way she dressed in her videos or the way she sings.  Last year, the singer went on a rant via Twitter addressing the issue of how women are defined solely by the men that they go out with or whom they have had sex with.
