The Falcons are top of the NFC South coming into Week 12. They are 6-4, but have no room for errors as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are second on 5-5 and the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers are just behind that on 4-6.

The NFC South is arguably the tightest division in the NFL this season, and in just a few weeks, if results go a certain way, the division could turn on its head.

That means the pressure is on, and the Falcons will want to make sure they claim the victory today at the Georgia Dome.

The Arizona Cardinals are second in the NFC West despite having a losing record so far this season.

The Cardinals come into the game on 4-5-1 and are way back from the NFC West division leading Seattle Seahawks who are on 7-2-1.

The Cardinals will be looking to win today and have a strong December to try and move into the Playoffs spots. But with various other teams doing much better than they, Arizona will know that they have to make their move now and have to finish the season extremely strongly.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback, Carson Palmer, is 227 of 369 for 2,642 yards and 13 touchdowns so far this season. His favorite hit man has been Larry Fitzgerald, who has received 74 throws for 749 yards and 5 touchdowns.

But the Cardinals' star man to a large extent has been David Johnson who has gone 863 yards on 197 carries, for an average gain of 4.4 yards, and 10 touchdowns.

Opposite them will be Matt Ryan calling the plays, and he has gone 236 of 346 for 3,247 yards and an impressive 24 touchdowns.

Julio Jones has caught 61 passes for 1,105 yards and five touchdowns, and today if Ryan and Jones can get going then the Falcons should have an excellent chance at getting the result.

But they must find a way to stop David Johnson, and that is easier said than done, as many teams have found out thus far this season.
