Producers of the CW's hit television series "Arrow" already have plans for the show's seventh season this year, well ahead of Season 6's conclusion.

The show's co-creator and Producer Greg Guggenheim has confirmed this in a report posted by movie news website Slash Film. Reporters from the sight managed to get a hold of the producer during the Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour in Beverly Hills.

"We've already started talking about ooh, we have a shape for season seven already," Guggenheim said. "This is the earliest we've ever had an idea for a season that far ahead, but it's come out of our conversations about season six."

Season six is still underway, so it is still too early to tell what the showrunners have in store for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his friends, but considering that they seem to have things already planned out this soon, it may seem that the producers are hinting that the series may end soon, especially since they are already playing the "choose a normal life over being a hero" card with Oliver and his son.

"I think we've always had an endpoint in mind," Guggenheim said. "We've always known how we want to end the show. That end point doesn't require X number of seasons."

In a different note, Entertainment Weekly recently interviewed CW network's president Mark Pedowitz in the same event. He told reporters that it is still too early to make announcements that Arrow will be returning for a seventh season, along with the other series that make up the "Arrowverse" including The Flash, Supergirl, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

"We haven't renewed anything yet," Pedowitz shared. "We're not quite ready to do that. We're a couple of weeks out. I'm pretty confident a lot of the [CW] slate is coming back. We're just not ready to make that a formal announcement yet."
