Fans wanting The Question to appear in the "Arrow" series might just get their prayers answered, as the showrunner has expressed that he also wants the enigmatic vigilante to appear in the show.

"Arrow" showrunner Marc Guggenheim has stated during the DCTV panel at ACE Comic Con in Long Island, New York that he wanted to introduce The Question to the long-running series. He also mentioned that an ideal way to do this was through a crossover in the "Crisis on Earth-X" arc in the comic books.

"I've made no secret of the fact one day I would love to see The Question on 'Arrow.' I think The Question is just tailor-made for 'Arrow.' I've always felt that," said Guggenheim during the event. This was not the first time Guggenheim was vocal about incorporating The Question in the show since during the same time of the year back in 2016, he also voiced out his affinity for the character. Back then, Guggenheim even teased Green Arrow a.k.a. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) visiting Hub City, which is the hometown of The Question.

For those unfamiliar with The Question, the character has been a part of the DC universe since 1967 during his first appearance in "Blue Beetle." His alter ego, Vic Sage, is an aggressive journalist who undertakes difficult stories no one else wants to be involved in. Whenever the law fails Sage and his profession, he turns to his alter ego to get the job done, even going as far as to cut corners and use violence to enact justice or discover something.

However, fans who are excited at the prospect of seeing The Question in live action television may want to curb their hype, as there are currently no plans to include him in "Arrow" despite the showrunner's whims and preference for the character. Still, "Arrow" has been known to make room for a lot of other lesser known DC superheroes, so The Question being considered for the near future of the franchise may not be that far-fetched.
