"Arrow" season 3 will skip airing an episode this week, but it only adds to the excitement building up as the series moves forward.

In the episode titled "Broken Arrow," the life of Roy Harper (Colton Hayes) might be put on the line as the Arrow tries to get him out of prison.

Based on the extended teaser for the episode, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) seeks the help of Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) to help him break his friend out of prison. But it seems like his plan is not fool-proof since Roy is seen being stabbed during a big prison riot. Does this mean that the earlier rumors about a major character dying this season pertains to Roy?

Amell posted a cryptic tweet early in March about the difficulty of saying goodbye to a major character, which could mean that the actor was talking about Roy's possible death in the upcoming episode.

Meanwhile, another shocking twist is featured in the extended promo of the episode. In the video, Oliver is seen hooking up with his former lover Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). Fans of the show have not been expecting this development since Felicity is already dating Ray. How will Ray react when he finds out that his girlfriend and his new ally are seeing each other behind his back?

Meanwhile, reports claim that Felicity and Oliver will be featured in the Arrow/Flash spin-off. Amell talked about this possibility during the recently concluded Vancouver FanExpo.

"I would imagine that I will be appearing on all three shows," the actor said. "I would imagine that we will be sprinkling characters in. I know that there's a plan for one character who originated on Arrow and is not one of the main characters on the new spinoff to sort of hover between all three shows and that will be their job, so to speak. So you'll see a lot of interconnectivity next year."

The next episode of "Arrow" season 3 airs on April 15.
