'Arrow' season 3 spoilers: Oliver Queen to lead the League of Assassins in episode 16?

Nyssa in Arrow Season 3 Episode 16 "The Offer"

March 18 marks the return of The CW's "Arrow" and with it, the decision of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) to either accept or refuse Ra's al Ghul's (Matthew Nable) offer for him to become the latter's replacement and eventually be the leader of the League of Assassins.

In the promotional trailer for episode 16, "The Offer," Malcolm (John Barrowman) tells Oliver that whoever is able to survive Ra's a Ghul's attack is set to become the next Ra's al Ghul, meaning he would now be given the opportunity to lead the League.

Oliver isn't the only person who has to deal with the offer. Ra's al Ghul's daughter Nyssa (Katrina Law) always believed that the responsibility would be hers. In the episode, she lingers with Laurel (Katie Cassidy), and the two characters get to share their problems regarding their fathers.

Amidst the chaos of Oliver's battles with the League of Assassins and the issues of his personal life and friends, a new enemy is set to make an appearance in the show.

This episode may also spell the beginning of Oliver's secret being made public. According to The Hollywood Reporter's coverage of the PaleyFest 2015 panel, both Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) will discover who the Arrow really is.

The official synopsis of the episode reads as follows:

"Still weighed down by his last meeting with Ra's al Ghul, Oliver returns home to find a new villain and his crew have started terrorizing Starling City – Michael Amar AKA Murmur (guest star Adrian Glynn McMorran), a man whose mouth has been sewn shut.

"Meanwhile, Laurel and Nyssa bond over their issues with their fathers and Nyssa make Laurel an offer. Thea is forced to come to terms with her father after Oliver brings Malcom to the loft to recover, and Lance shuts out both Laurel and the Arrow."
