'Arrow' season 3 episode 2 'Sara' spoilers: A murderer lurks in new episode

What comes next after a romance is cut short? The CW

In the season premiere of "Arrow," a lot of things were proven. First, it was attested that a rocket explosion can jeopardize a burgeoning romance, especially when the man on the opposite side of the dining table has a hooded vigilante for an alter ego. Oliver (Stephen Amell) finally accepts the fact that his destiny is to be the Arrow forever and not Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) man. Also, the first episode became Diggle's first day as a daddy to his newborn daughter. But the cute "aww" moment was cut short.

The main source of the sting is that, the rumors of Sara's death are brought to a painful fruition. In turn, the challenges only get tougher, the team's life get more complicated, and, of course, Sara's murderer will bring more trouble in the next episode named after her, "Sara".

In the episode, a mystery archer goes around shooting arrows and killing people. Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is keen to ask for Arrow's help in tracking down the killer and ending his killing spree once and for all. Diggle (David Ramsey) is successful in giving the archer a name using the A.R.G.U.S., and it reveals the name Simon Lacroix (guest star Matt Ward), who seems to prefer to be called Komodo. Posing a huge test to the team, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) may be the one to save the day.

In the same episode, Roy (Colton Haynes) reveals Thea's (Willa Holland) reason for leaving town when Oliver grows worried about her absence. Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) sees the opportunity to pursue Felicity, thanks to Werner Zytle's rocket launch.

More trouble for the hero lies in wait. In flashback form, Oliver realizes that his best friend, Tommy (guest star Colin Donnell), is in grave peril when Maseo (guest star Karl Yune) tells him about Amanda Waller's order. And lastly, despite her promise to her sister, Laurel debates sharing a secret about Sara (Caity Lotz) with Lance.

"Arrow" season 3 episode 2 will air on Oct.15.
