Nobody wants to see Oliver Queen die, not even temporarily. But if it means that the other cast members will have more screen time this way, fans surely wouldn't mind not seeing Oli for a little while.

To give viewers an idea of what's up ahead, the showrunners have dished out huge details about "Arrow" Season 3B. Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim dropped one bomb after another to TV Line, and their revelations make for huge spoilers in the coming episodes. 

According to Marc Guggenheim, the episodes after Oliver's death "are among the best we've ever done. They're incredibly compelling." What does he mean by this? 

First, with Oli gone and presumed dead, the gang at home starts to take matters into their own hands. Guggenheim described the fallout to be a necessary thing. It pushes Laurel to be the Canary. Also, it gives the other characters their own time to shine. 

"There's a lot of Thea and Felicity," and "[Felicity will] have some pretty big moments with Laurel as well," Guggenheim promised. 

There's also Diggle who becomes very emotional at first. His storyline with the H.I.V.E. will also be tackled in the upcoming episodes. But among these spoilers, the best was when Kreigberg confirmed the return of an elite group in "Arrow."

"We're definitely going to bring back the Suicide Squad," Kreisberg said. 

Which members of the Suicide Squad will be seen? Carter Matt speculates that Deadshot, Bronze Tiger and Cupid will all be returning. Further spoilers indicate the Sin will have "a pivotal part" in episode 12, Sara and Vertigo will appear in episode 13, and Slade Wilson will make his return in episode 14.

What an exciting way to start the new year for all "Arrow" fans out there. The return of season 3 is going to be huge, with one intriguing storyline after another. And of course, there's the anticipation of how Oliver Queen will return to Starling City, or perhaps, how he will make it out alive.
