The winter finale for "Arrow" season 4 titled "Dark Waters" ended with a shock, with many fans worrying over Felicity's fate. But the season is only just beginning and there's a lot more action in store for viewers when "Arrow" returns with the rest of its season 4 episodes.

A promotional video released for the next episode (season 4 episode 10) shows interlocking scenes of Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) being rushed to the hospital and Oliver (Stephen Amell) standing over a grave--the same one in the flash forward--as he is heard in a voiceover saying, "Now I know it's not my fault. It's my responsibility to end it. I'm gonna kill 'em."

The nature of the footage has given fans a reason to worry, especially since the Oliver-Felicity pairing is a crowd favourite. But the series is reportedly known for its misleading promo videos, which offers some sort of relief or comfort for viewers.

So if Felicity doesn't turn out to be dead, then who does?

CarterMatt has offered a few guesses, including Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Donna Smoak (Charlotte Ross), or even a member of Oliver's family residing in Central City.

Speculations have also been made as to what the rest of the season might hold for viewers.

Rumor has it that Oliver and Felicity's relationship could experience a few bumps, and the former's son might be highlighted more. Another assumption is that Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) will make his return to show. And perhaps the most exciting in the DC Universe, a possible crossover with another DC series might see the light of day.

But it seems that fans will have to wait patiently to find out what will happen next on the superhero series.

"Arrow" is based on a DC comic character called "Green Arrow." The show was developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg.

The back half of "Arrow" season 4 will premiere on Jan. 20 on The CW.
