"Arrow" season 4 played with the relationship of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Brett Rickards) as the two got together romantically, got engaged, broke up and came back as friends. According to actor David Ramsey, season 5 will see the two get back together.

According to a Twitter post from Fangirlish, Ramsey stated the two would get back together for season 5. He was quoted on making the statement while making an appearance for a panel during the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest. However, it was unclear if this meant the two were getting back romantically or just back on good terms.

Stephen Amell addressed the issue in an interview with TV Line, stating, "I think that it's important to remember that relationships on the show don't have to be only defined by romance. I hope that they're both in a happy positive place. Whether that means they're together or not remains to be seen."

As it stands, the relationship of the two characters has yet to be decided. However, fans will also recall that this isn't the first time Oliver broke up with one of the main characters on the show only to continue working with them but merely as a close friend given that he went through the same process with Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). 

In regards to the season in general Amell confirmed that season 5 would harken back to the first season of the show, stating that the plot of the season would be brought on directly by Oliver's previous decisions and actions. He also revealed that the season would reveal Oliver's connections to the Russia mob and how he learned to speak Russian.

Unfortunately, Amell did not mention how the events of the finale for "The Flash" season 2 would affect "Arrow" season 5, given that the Flash (Grant Gustin) went back in time and altered history.
